Spectrum Fantastic Art Live is an art fair featuring creators from around the globe. Both a retail venue for exhibiting artists and an educational opportunity for students and the public, SFAL is an extension of the Spectrum Annual: a convention in which all artists are welcome.

The convention will feature 200 exhibitor booths, panels, live painting and drawing demonstrations, portfolio reviews by renowned art directors, and the presentation of the awards for Spectrum 20 at the historic Midland Theater with live entertainment by the internationally known dance troupe Quixotic Fusion. Special guests for the event are Peter de Sève, Jon Foster, Tara McPherson, Charles Vess, Michael Whelan, and Terryl Whitlatch; other artists appearing at the show include Iain McCaig, Donato Giancola, Brom, Mike Mignola, and many more.

Spectrum Fantastic Art Live 2013 will be held at the Grand Ballroom of Bartle Hall located at 301 West 13th Street, Kansas City, Missouri, 64105
