Gadget-Bot is a Los Angeles based production company found in 2011 to develop intellectual properties and to provide visual direction for the entertainment industry. Story is the key to their projects and the belief that a rich one can be told in more than one medium.
Gadget-Bot’s portfolio of concept design work has included films, television, games and virtual reality. Several notable projects including Westworld, Pacific Rim, Battle Angel and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
Kaidro: The Awakening follows a story of an orphaned girl named Ava who gets drafted into the military academy to learn how to pilot a mech. In this post apocalyptic world, Union citizens defend themselves against a race of people called the Outlanders. Due to the massive numbers of Outlanders and their superhuman abilities, the Unions have developed 9 foot tall mechanical robots to help defend their cities. Ava must piece together clues to find out her purpose in this world.
The collection of the art for BOB was created by Co-Founders and directors, Peggy Chung and Robert Simons alongside concept designer, Victor H. Calleja, and 3D modeler, Wren Cromwell.
