About the Game
In Journey, you play as a robed figure waking up in a massive desert with one goal: reach a glowing light atop a mountain on the horizon. As you trek through sand dunes, crumbling ruins, and snowy peaks, you collect glowing symbols to lengthen a scarf that allows you to glide and fly. The game features no dialogue or text; instead, you occasionally cross paths with another real player who is on their own trek. You can’t see their name or speak to them, only communicate through a simple musical chime, making the two of you silent companions in a harsh world. It is a short, atmospheric experience that focuses on the feeling of the trek and the brief, wordless connection made with a stranger.
