Concept Artist Robert Simons has released some of the concept designs he created for Rhino’s Mech Suit featured in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Simons explains how the initial concept was to have Rhino in a suit but eventually the design evolved to more of a mech suit. He has also worked on films such as Ender’s Game, The Thing (2011), Transformers: Age of Extinction and Jurassic World.
Simons is currently working on Momentum, a short film project being developed by his concept design studio/production company, Gadget-Bot.
