Karakter Design Studio was kind enough to share some of their marketing artwork for Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
For it’s marketing, Activision commissioned full body portraits of the game’s main characters while they were still in the making. Working from character descriptions, references, concepts and early in-game-assets, our artworks were to anticipate the final look of each character, their gear and costumes, but also their characteristic attitudes.
Our final images inspired the in game character selection menu, and valorized the game’s limited edition in the shape of an exclusive series of art prints.
