Entartete Kunst is a personal project by Derek Stenning, a seasoned production artist who has spent the last decade working in the game design industry. He is currently the senior concept artist at Microsoft Studios Victoria.
Started as a way to reconnect with his creative roots, Entartete Kunst features weathered cosmonauts adorned with oversized headgear, inhabiting a hazy void somewhere between hope and despair. His work blends Soviet-inspired retro sci-fi aesthetics with Jewish mystical and Qabalistic symbolism.
The project has been well received, featured in numerous exhibitions and international publications, including Spectrum, ImagineFX, and Advanced Photoshop, among others.
