Concept artist Seth Engstrom has released concept art he created for Disney’s John Carter. His work includes several environment designs and a great variety of Thark costume and weapon designs.
About the Movie
John Carter (2012) is a sci-fi action-adventure film based on Edgar Rice Burroughs’ classic novel. It follows Civil War veteran John Carter, who is mysteriously transported to Mars—known as Barsoom—where he finds himself in the middle of a conflict between warring Martian civilizations. With enhanced strength due to the planet’s gravity, Carter becomes a reluctant hero, joining forces with the warrior princess Dejah Thoris to save Barsoom from destruction. The film blends epic battles, alien creatures, and romance in a sweeping interplanetary tale.
