Kai Carpenter is a freelance illustrator working out of the Seattle area. His list of clients include Wizards of the Coast, Heavy Metal, DC Comics, Dark Horse Comics and Llewellyn Books. He is currently working on a book with HarperCollins, which can be found on shelves Winter 2013.
