The first dinosaur fossils were discovered as early as 1676 and dinosaurs have since been glorified in modern pop culture in books, movies and video games. Before the 17th century, dinosaur bones were thought to have been magnificent dragons by the Chinese who discovered them. Although dinosaurs have long since been extinct for millions of years (or turned into birds), we thought it would be cool to showcase an assortment of dinosaur concepts and illustrations.
